Community leadership and empowerment is the theme for TEDxBendigo. It has taken significant community leadership and involvement to create the Bendigo we know and love and it will take ALL of us working better together in the future, people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, cultures and communities, to grow a sustainable future together.

TEDxBendigo acknowledges the Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung peoples, and extends its appreciation for the Traditional Owners of Country where the event will be held. TEDxBendigo pays respect to leaders and elders past and present, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture, ideas and stories of all Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung peoples.

We express our gratitude in the sharing of this land and hope that, with many hands, we will better connect and collaborate to move forward together in harmony and in the spirit of healing and growth.
